On November 7, 2011, the Federal Trade Commission and the State of Connecticut filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the District Of Connecticut, Case No. 3:11-CV-1715 (VLB), against LeanSpa, LLC ("LeanSpa"), NutraSlim, LLC ("NutraSlim"), NutraSlim UK LTD. ("NutraSlim UK") and Boris Mizhen, alleging unfair and deceptive practices in connection with the sale of purported weight-loss products containing acai berry.

On November 22, 2011, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut entered a Stipulated Preliminary Injunction, signed by the parties, freezing the assets of the defendants and appointing Matthew K. Beatman as Temporary Receiver of LeanSpa, NutraSlim, and NutraSlim U.K.

LeanSpa, NutraSlim, and NutraSlim UK are now closed until further orders or direction from the U.S. District Court.  If you have any questions regarding one of these three entities, you may contact the Temporary Receiver, Matthew K.
